Dear Mary Ellen and Family,
I am so sorry to learn of Gordy's passing. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. As you know, Gordy and I grew up as next door neighbors and good friends and eventual co-workers at Mohawk / Jefferson Smurfit Containers. Please know that I share your grief, as I lost my beloved Toni just two years ago. I know in my heart that the Lord extended his hand and said "Come on Gordy, let's go home". He's waiting for all of those he loved in a beautiful place, as promised. I will pray for you for the Lord's comfort and healing.
Sincerely, Jerry

Back a few years ago - many years ago, before my you and Gordy were married, Gordy use to take me along on trips to his favorate pit stops and buy me a coke and sandwich, but what I liked more was the really neat cars he drove. I remember that real dressed up 1950 Ford he had. I am sure you had a lot of fun and happy memories to remember from the last fifty-two years my sister. Love you.

My heart goes out to my cousin, Mary Ellen and her daughters. Gordy was always nice to me, even when I was a teenage brat when he was dating Mary Ellen. He was a good husband and father and my only regret is I didn't keep in touch with the family. We all go our own ways but it is family that is forever. My God Bless you all, and comfort you with all the good memories he has left behind.
