Obituary: Anthony L. Roland, 45, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at his home with his loving family at his side.
He was born on July 1, 1967, in Rome, the son of Albertha Register. He attended Rome schools.
He was employed by APAC in Utica.
Surviving besides his mother, Albertha, of Rome; are seven daughters, Jasmine Roland, of Utica, Asia Roalnd, of Long Island, India Roland, of Utica, Tyae Roland, Envi Roland, Syncere Roland, and Riana Roland, all of Rome; a son, Anthony L. Roland, Jr., of Utica; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary (John) Sefrass, of Rome, Sherry Roland, of Rome, Katrina Weston, of Syracuse, Evarr Whack, of Rome; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Timothy Roland, Johnathan and Rose Roland, and Robert Register, all of Rome; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012, at 12:00 PM (noon) at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Contributions to Relay for Life, Team Sierra, Taylor, and Anthony Roland, 800 Elm St., Rome, NY, 13440.
